What is Permanent Makeup?

Permanent makeup is a safe and medically approved procedure to implant pigment into the dermal layer of the skin. Under the care of a Licensed Professional, the procedure is completely safe.

Prepackaged sterilized permanent makeup needles are used along with hypoallergenic and dermatologist approved permanent makeup pigment.  A computerized permanent makeup machine--The Nouveau Contour Intelligent is used.  The machine method of implantation results in a quicker treatment, less discomfort, faster healing time and longest-lasting result.  Very fine needles deposit color by superficially punching into the upper dermal layer over one hundred times a second. Most procedures result in scant to no bleeding. Very effective topical analgesics are used throughout the procedure.  Most clients rate their discomfort a 2 on a pain scale.  A 2 hour block of time is reserved for your procedure.  The majority of this time is spent numbing the area, selecting color(s), mapping out the design and discussing after care. The actual implanting of pigment takes only about 45 minutes.

All permanent makeup procedures initially are darker and bolder and that's why the powder fill machine technique lasts the longest.  As the skin heals, color softens and lightens to a powdery result in about

5-7 days.

What areas can be implanted with Permanent Makeup?

 Brows

Color is implanted to fill in sparse brows or completely recreate the brow.   No pigment is implanted until your approval of shape and color.  The brows heal 30% lighter and the result is a soft powdery fill.

Lip Liner and Full Lip Color

The vermilion border can be enhanced and/or entire lips filled in with a hint of color. The lips lose 70% of color during the healing process. Again, the resulting effect is a hint of color not a lipstick effect.

Eye Liner

The eyes can be enhanced with permanent makeup. After healing, the effect is a soft pencil liner result.  The liner heals about 50% lighter.   You can select to have both lids implanted with pigment or just the upper or lower.

Advanced Permanent Makeup

White mature surgical and other scars can be implanted with flesh toned pigment to camouflage the area.  Post-mastectomy patients can opt for 3D areola implantation to recreate a natural looking reconstruction.
